for the spider bite (you knew i'd have a remedy, didn't you?) - warm epsom salt compress: soak a washcloth with super warm water, squeeze excess out, pour small amount of epsom salt in the center of the cloth, apply directly to the bite and leave for 10 mins or so. it'll sting like hell, but will heal it quickly.
Posted by: Jill at September 3, 2005 9:59 PMUm, isn't "born" on Drunkard's Prayer one of the best songs ever? Makes me tear up, everytime. Especially being graciously let in to their own redemption story, and feeling the weight of the deliverance.
Posted by: flibbityflu at September 3, 2005 10:23 PMSongs For A Hurricane is my most listened to album of the last year - marvellous fabulous stuff.
So how about some more pics of the new suedehead bananie? I'm sure it's a look that suits you, in a Sinead kind of way. :)

Posted by: Steve at September 4, 2005 5:56 PMI know I'm showing my complete ignorance, but what does it mean to be "commando"? (And I'm excited to go check out the music you mentioned.)

Posted by: bananie at September 5, 2005 11:06 AMfor the record, I staved off my desire to be less consumeristic and bought myself an ipod yesterday.
