Well, the CD that has not left my player in about 2 months is "This Feeling's Called Goodbye" by Brothers Past. Very dark, very melodic, very dancy, very GOOD. Amazing, actually.

Some other notable mentions:

"Illinois" by Sufjan Stevens
"Fly Between Falls" by Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO)
"Bombs Over Bristol" by Don McCloskey
"Brazilian Girls" by Brazilian Girls
"The Build" by Drew Isleib
"Let It Die" by Feist
"In The Reins" by Iron & Wine/Calexico
"Sixty-Six Steps" by Leo Kottke/Mike Gordon
"Nouvelle Vague" by Nouvelle Vague
"The Duhks" by The Duhks
"Countryman" by Willie Nelson
"Anchor Drops" by Umphrey's McGee

And, I've been revisiting "Stereo Type A" by Cibo Matto...used to love that CD so much, and I am rediscovering it. It's so much fun.

and I'm rediscovering my infant love of all things ABBA. Man those dudes could WRITE and those ladies could SING. Harmonies to lift you higher than this autumn sun.
