tonight.
tonight, i feel more hopeful than i have in a very long time.
and no, there is no alcohol in my body. it's a mindful night: some cleaning, some conversation. a few tears. many laughs surfacing from way down deep.
the crickets are back, early. treefrogs too. tonight, i'll sleep to their lullaby. and i'll rest. this much i know.
