home and dry.
charley and i arrived in austin at around seven this evening, after spending last night and much of today in dallas, with my sister, eileen.
my sweet friend nichole came over with her boy, charlie. and so we had charlie the boy and charley the dog vying for the same monster truck toy for awhile.
oh, the pricelessness of watching mother and son, and to spend the afternoon with my friend, catching up over a glass of wine.
and now, i'm home. home home home. and my love greeted me with arms wide open and a grin. and moe bulldozed me with happy dog greetings. and charley, she plopped down immediately on her bed,
i have a home. i have a family. it is good.
