heartbeats.

all the poking and prodding i experienced today was redeemed when i saw a strong flickering heartbeat. sparky is alive and growing right on schedule.

there is a heart beating in my belly.

Good luck with the food- all I ate for the first two months was mac & cheese, spaghettios (neither of which I'd had in Years), and cheese pizza. I read all those pregnancy books about eating healthy for the baby and totally believed in it until the minute I was pregnant. Then my goal was just to eat at all.
