Yay yay yay! Already the Against-ers are vowing to overturn it but we know better. Can you smell the decay on them!? They're railing against an inevitable sweeping change that's been decades, nay, CENTURIES in the making. Woot!!!

I read along here. For some reason I felt like I should say so.

Soon your new baby will be here, and I'm thinking good thoughts for you.

What hope is there in Same-sex Marriage?
You cannot procreate, male to male nor female to female, which is not God's order or plan for anyone. He designed it for a man and a woman, and this is the way that you, and I, and everyone came into being in this world.

dear mister archer,

i clearly understand the mechanics of sperm meeting egg, but it doesn't take marriage to make that happen, nor is procreation a requirement of civil marriage.

my inability to procreate with my partner is not a precondition for our right to be recognized as equal citizens under the law. we contribute to our community and government just as much as any heterosexual married couple, and are entitled to the tax benefits and requirements current denied to us.

there is plenty of hope in our looking forward to marriage. and by the grace of God, i hope that you will someday see that.
