and so it came to pass

here i am.


medford, new jersey. 9:30 am. tired. look like hell.

but.

guess what i discovered? the existence of sunshine. no, i'm serious. the sun really does shine. i see it right now, just sitting up there in this...um, blue sky. there is nothing grey. just these stark brown branches against this clear, cloudless backdrop. everything is crisp. how foreign.

i think i shall make some waffles.
maybe some sausage.
definitely going to whip out the log cabin maple syrup. mmmm.

don't take the small things for granted. (like syrup.)

funny. here i am.

strange, it was blue sky here in Belfast today, blue and crisp, Jenna phoned from Bangor somewhere saying what a great day it was.

the house is quiet now.... there is something missing in Strandburn, though there are traces, signs and clues left on a door, on a wall and a horse on the ceiling (that frightened me).

the skoda has been checked by a mechanic and all is well you'll be glad to know.
